In this online game, Harry Potter is about to begin his second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. You first meet Hagrid who explains to you some basic interactions you can do within the game and then you are free to roam and complete tasks.
The story of the game follows the plot of the second book pretty closely, so if you read the book, or saw the movie you'll know what's going on. In case you haven't read the book or just don't remember the details, the story goes like this: a member of the Slytherin class unleashed a monster that will destroy all the students of Hogwarts whose parents are not wizards. And that includes Harry as well. Most of the events that appeared in the book will appear in this game as well.
You'll have to explore various dungeons, solve puzzles, and cast spells to progress, including playing Quiddich. All in all, this little game, that first appeared on Gameboy Advance consoles, is a very solid and complex experience that can be enjoyed by fans of the franchise and newcomers as well. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets received high scores from various game publications.
